Safeguarding Guidance for Clubs

Safeguarding Guidance for Clubs

The wellbeing of children is everyone’s responsibility, particularly when it comes to protecting them from wellbeing concerns, poor practice and abuse. Everyone in handball– board member, club official, coach, parent, friend, participants themselves – can help. The club must place the needs of the child first and winning and competition second.

If you are concerned about the immediate safety of a child please contact Police Scotland - call 101 or 999.

Below are downloadable resources to help your club strenghten its safeguarding policies and processes. For full SHA Safeguarding Policies click here.
